rrdtool.error raised for lazy update

Reported by: human Owned by: oetiker

Component: rrd_graph Version: 1.3dev

Description

I sometimes get rrdtool.error when trying to lazy update week, month and year graphs. This error was not raised with 1.3-beta4, just between rc4 and stable release.

I think it's not a good idea to raise an unknown error on "no update needed". I am unable to known, if it is an real error (for example permission denied) or an "no update needed" warning.

An example is attached.

note there is a bug with 1.3.0 where the graph size does not get reported correctly with the lazy option ... this will be fixed in 1.3.1. Check the bugtracker for the patch.
